Smart Hotel, Mandalay

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and equipped with essential amenities like aircon, WiFi, TV, and a safety box, but they were a bit on the smaller side, making it challenging to move around comfortably. The service was friendly and helpful, although there seemed to be some difficulty at times. The location was a major plus, being close to the old Royal Palace and offering free bicycles for exploring. The dining experience had a good variety but lacked certain meat options. Overall, a decent option considering the value for money.

The hotel is located in a more quiet area of the city, which was great for me. The rooms are really comfortable, although the one I stayed in was relatively small. The service was super friendly and helpful, but they couldn't provide detailed directions about the town. The location seemed fairly good, and the housekeeper surprised me by speaking Tagalog. The dining experience was good with a city view on the 7th floor, but the food quality was quite poor. The facilities were satisfactory overall.

The hotel's facilities also added to the overall positive experience, making it a great value for the money.

The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, but there is an attempt to extort money from guests. The service provided by Mr Nyunt was excellent and extraordinarily friendly, making all our wishes come true. The location is outstanding in Myanmar, near everything and just a 5-minute walk to the old Royal Palace. The dining experience was much better than expected, with a variety of Asian and European options, and the sky bar offered lovely panoramic views. Italian grilled meat was a highlight. The hotel facilities were also great.
